It's with a very happy heart that we can once again welcome customers back to the pub, we have really missed the buzz and the atmosphere about the place.
Whilst it may just be outside and under the ‘rule of 6’, and it may involve coats and warm jumpers, the odd umbrella and the dodging of a brief April shower, it will however, mean we are once again able to enjoy a proper pint of beer, a glass of something cold and crisp on the patio, some delicious food and tempting nibbles. But most importantly, it means we can all see each other once again, not on a screen, not through a window or other side of the road but across a table from one another, at a pub, enjoying a drink and each other’s company, one of the simplest and greatest pleasures in life.
Rule of 6 - We are able to accept groups of up to 6 people from mixed households (not including children under 11). If from one household then larger groups allowed.
As we will be reliant on the rather unreliable British weather, taking bookings for outdoor tables presents some challenges. We will have a limited number of covered outdoor tables however, as many of our tables are open to the elements then we will not be taking bookings but will be available on a first come first served basis, so if it does tip it down, we’re not having to disappoint people by cancelling that table.
We are open daily serving at the following times:
Food: Monday to Thursday 12pm-3pm/5pm-8pm & Friday to Sunday 12pm-8pm
Drinks: Monday to Sunday 12pm - 10pm
We are now taking bookings for indoors from Monday 17th of May online.
We can’t wait to welcome you and your friends & family back to the pub. See you soon.

The Cottage Loaf, a traditional country pub nestled in the heart of the seaside town of Llandudno.
‘The Loaf’ as we are affectionately known, has everything you would expect from a Welsh country pub; open fires, wooden beams, old heavy furniture, colourful gardens, great cask ales and hearty homemade food served by a friendly face. Oddly enough though, you’ll find us hidden down a back street in centre of Llandudno....we feel this only adds to the pub’s charm and quirkiness.
Our bustling bar offers an array of local cask and craft beers, along with world beers and a guest draught cider or two. We’ve got some cracking wines behind the bar, a strong selection of Scotland’s finest, as well as some other interesting and quality spirits. Our spacious pub has ample seating both indoors and out including our garden room which opens out onto our courtyard garden, a great little sun trap for those oh-so-brief warm sunny days.
Our hearty homemade menu seems to pull folk from near and far…. locally sourced where we can, with some of our meat coming from the butchers just next door! Wholesome pub classics can be found on our menu mixed with a number of interesting seasonal specials from our enthusiastic and creative crew in the kitchen. Our team of chefs use only fresh produce to ensure quality and freshness in every dish, and hopefully give you a flavour of the local area.
Our location is perfect for enjoying some of the great attractions Llandudno has to offer as well as some of the stunning walks and scenery in the area. Well, there is nothing quite like a pub lunch after working up an appetite!
