We source all of our meat and vegetables locally from Welsh farmers and suppliers (where possible).  We feel it is important support local business and we also love to showcase the fantastic produce that this area has to offer.

In October 2012 Scott Smith became a partner in the business and will be continuing the legacy when Robert retires.  Bob and Scott share a passion for quality meat and a belief that the public deserve better than what they get in the supermarket. They specialise in Welsh aged beef, Welsh lamb and British pork.

cilmeityn farmThe Alpine and Saanen goats enjoy roaming the pastures of Cilmeityn Farm in Glanwydden which overlooks the sea and Llandudno. With their milk, the farm produces a delicate and fresh goats cheese which is traditionally handmade onsite. Cilmeityn farm also supply us with free range eggs.

Blas ar fwydThe company established their delicatessen in Llanrwst in 1988 selling fine food and wine from Wales and across the world. The delicatessen business receives a wide variety of produce, much of which either comes directly from the producers or is imported especially for Blas ar Fwyd. One of their key produce is cheese with many being the product of goats, sheep and cows grazing naturally and freely on the hills of the Welsh uplands.

While the business has grown, its focus is the same today as it was in 1975… delivering a fresh and delicious product to the customer.

Llanbedr y Cennin bakery (Llanbedr)

llanbedr bakeryThis local village bakery still makes bread in the traditional way with only 4 ingredients: flour, yeast, salt and water. Baker Jamie Mills is dedicated to baking the perfect bun time and time again. He supplies numerous businesses in the area and is up all hours starting his day at 3.30am to start the ovens and his daily bake. We get our baps and our walnut & raisin bread from Jamie.

Mermaids Seafood (Llandudno)

They are one of the largest fish suppliers in Wales. Where possible, they source their fish locally from the local fishing fleet here in north Wales. They source other stock from Scotland, and the north Altantic Ocean catch.
