Our selection of real ales comes from near and far with many regular and guest ales coming from local breweries and microbreweries. A favourite amongst our regulars is the popular “Welsh Pride/ Balchder Cymru” ale which comes from Conwy Brewery just 5 miles away.
We have a premium choice of lagers, ciders and stouts on our bar including: Wrexham Lager (4.0%), Fosters (4.0%), Kronenbourg 1664 (5%), Budweiser (4%), Brooklyn Lager (5%), Symonds Special Reserve Cider (4.5%), John Smiths (3.8%), Guinness (4.2%)
Our bar features some well known ales as our regular beers:
Local Conwy Brewery’s Welsh Pride/Balchder Cymru (4.0%) – A copper coloured bitter with a well balanced blend of malt & hops. An initial rich, malty mouthfeel is rounded off by tasty orangey / zesty hops and a touch of spice.
Courage Directors Bitter (4.8%) – Directors is sought out by discerning drinkers who appreciate its subtle balance of bitter English Target hops and sweet, burnt Ale and Crystal malts; a subtly of flavour rare in such a full bodied ale.
Brains Reverend James (4.5%) – The Rev. James is rich and well-balanced with a mellow malty flavour that unexpectedly gives way to a clean, refreshing finish.
We also like to feature various guest ales sourced to compliment our regular beers. If you are not sure which beer you would like then please just ask a member of our team to try a sample or for some advice.
